My name is Teri L. Whiteley-Sowden and I am very glad you've stopped by to look at my drawings!

I specialize in Pen and Ink Pointillism drawings of animals. First, a word or two on what you're going to look at. If you look close, all of my prints are made up entirely of DOTS. This technique is called Pointillism...this is not an artistic method for the impatient that's for sure!

They are not "computer generated" but drawn "FREE HAND" I sketch an image and then painstakingly fill that image in by using rapidograph pens and India Ink, dot, by dot, by dot, by dot... until I get the detail and effect I'm looking for on that animal. The originals took anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to complete (11x14 image size) depending on the detail of the animal. The drawings offered on this web site are lithographs of the original drawings and offered in Limited Editions.
